Exploring Trees Inside and Out

In Exploring Trees Inside and Out (June 13 - September 13, 2009), children will experience the sights, sounds and scents of a tree. Children can climb through a larger-than-life tree from the roots to the canopy, lie in the rope netting for a bird’s eye view, and jump into a giant bird’s nest. They can walk into a giant acorn, build a birdhouse, and dress up as their favorite animal, insect or tree and dance with the trees. Children will leave the exhibit with a greater understanding and appreciation of trees and the key role they play in our daily lives.
