Dr. Brown is the author of Play: How It Shapes the Brain, Opens the Imagination, and Invigorates the Soul. He is also the founder of the National Institute for Play, producer of a three-part PBS series, The Promise of Play, has appeared on NPR and at the New York Public Library and was featured in a cover story for The New York Times Magazine.
