Healthy Children Are Happy Children!
At Imagine It!, your child's health is as important to us as providing a smart place to play for your family. With cold and flu season already here, we wanted to share with you how we take great care to provide a healthy and safe environment for you and your children to explore, learn and just have fun!When playing at Imagine It!, we offer different ways to promote a healthy experience. To minimize the spread of infection, we offer:
- A Clean Museum: The overall Museum floor is disinfected every night with some of the same products used and approved by local hospitals.
- Happy Hands Sanitation Stations: Hand sanitizers will be located in eight locations throughout the Museum. Just look for the signs that say: "Happy Hands Sanitation Station."
- Restrooms: Soap and water are available in the restrooms located in Leaping into Learning and in the hallway across from the Security desk.
- Fresh Groceries: Groceries in Fundamentally Food are swapped out midday for clean items and then disinfected.
Healthy Tips for Families
Keep your child's hands and yours clean to help prevent the spread of germs. Use hand sanitizers, or if hands have visible dirt or grime, use soap and water.
- Avoid use of hand sanitizers on the sensitive skin of infants and toddlers.
- Children and adults should cover their mouths and noses with a tissue when sneezing or coughing and dispose of the tissue in a trash can. Clean your hands afterwards. If a tissue isn't available, children and adults should cover their mouths with their sleeve or arm.
- Get recommended vaccines.
- If you or your child does get sick, stay home to minimize spread to others.
- Get a good night's sleep.
- Be active.
- Eat a balanced diet.
