Amuse'um 2012: Circus Spectacular

Each year, Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta holds its primary fundraising event titled Amuse’um in support of the Museum’s dynamic exhibits and programming provided to the children, families, and schools of Atlanta.  By posing the question - “Why should kids have all the FUN?” - the Museum sets the stage for a whimsical, adult-only evening of festivity filled with child-like activities, delicious cuisine and cocktails, live music, dancing, and an engaging auction.  Amuse’um attracts a diverse range of guests, including multi-generational families, joining together to celebrate Atlanta’s only children’s museum.

 

Having sold out for seven years in a row with approximately 550 guests in attendance, The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is excited to present Amuse’um 2012: Circus Spectacular on February 25, 2012.

 

 

This year, we are drawing from circuses from the past, creating a magnificent evening of play.  The Museum will be transformed into a big top.  Hit the high striker and test your strength, pose for vintage photos, test your luck with games of chance, and enter raffles for amazing prizes.  Patrons and guests will dine on circus-inspired fare stationed throughout the Museum and sip on our adult twist on classic snow cones. 

The sounds of live music with a seventies flair by Yacht Rock Revue and lively silent and live auctions will provide merriment that lasts late into the evening, as funds will be raised to support the mission of the Museum.
