Visitor Services
Goal of Position
To deliver excellent customer service and to provide a safe, clean, and educational environment for Museum guests.Activities/Responsibilities
Help children get ready to paint the wall, build sand
castles, and assist in the grocery store. You can even help them cast
their rod to fish for letters, numbers and swordfish, water the garden
and plant flowers. Assist Visitor Services staff with
restocking grocery store shelves, cleaning the paint wall, reorganizing
costumes, or ensure that children have sufficient balls for the ball
machine.
Museum hours
Monday — Friday 10AM — 4PM; Saturday and Sunday 10AM — 5PM.
Volunteer shifts available during museum hours and to assist with exhibit floor closing after museum hours.

This special field trip program, sponsored by A.G. Edwards,
is designed to provide Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students with a
foundation for financial literacy by presenting activities that teach
kids to earn, spend, and save money wisely. This program supports
Georgia's Performance Standards and educational objectives.
Goal of Position
To work with school children as a banker who teaches them about the importance of earning, spending, and saving their money.
Activities/Responsibilities
Payday Playday volunteer bankers dress up, set up and man a sales cart. In
this volunteer role, you will also help the Museum's Imaginator staff
conduct the Payday Playday program by selling small items to children
who can use play money to buy toys, school supplies, or even save for
their piggy bank. Afterwards, The Imaginators perform a fun and
engaging song summarizing the experience and the lessons involved.
Available Shifts
Every Friday during the school year from 9:30AM — 11:30AM.

Special Events
Goal of PositionTo assist with various activities during fundraising and awareness events. Events include community festivals and fairs, fundraising events, marketing and awareness events, and educator events.
Activities/Responsibilities
Act as spokesperson and share information about Imagine It!
and our programs. You'll have the opportunity to help set-up and
clean-up for events and may assist with event games or activities, which may include child arts and crafts.

Activities/Responsibilities
Inform visitors of all membership opportunities and the benefits of being a member of Imagine It! This volunteer role helps sell memberships, prepare membership information for mailings and help with monthly renewal mailings.
Available Shifts (3 hour shifts)
Flexible Monday — Friday shifts; some weekend shifts available.

Story Time Reader
Goal of Position
To provide exceptional programming for our young visitors
Activities/Responsibilities
Select from approved books and read to our young visitors! Puppets and props are sometimes available to enhance story time.
Museum Hours
